Octuor de France

From 22 to 24 March 2013, France will Octet in Biarritz, Hotel du Palais, for three concerts. The program in the first hearing, the Quintet for piano and strings Adolphe Blanc (1828-1895) with this year, for the first time, the pianist Franz Michel. The classic masterpieces as Schubert Octet will obviously present, but also for the Quartet for the End of Time by Olivier Messiaen …

The “Octuor de France”  is associated with the commemoration of the centenary of Jean Françaix.
Several works by the composer will be honored during the 2012 season.
A 3 Cd’s album devoted to chamber music will be published in May.
